Hot melt adhesive is typically a 100% solid formulation created without water or solvents. 3 Sigma’s hot melt adhesive bonds well to substrates such as cardboard, metal, glass, leather, wood, ceramic, plastic, rubber, fabric, and foam. These characteristics make it ideal for packaging, tapes, labels, automotive applications, coupons, and product assembly.

Benefits of hot melt adhesives include excellent sustainability, high tack and strength, quick stick, and excellent adhesion to rough surfaces. 3 Sigma can coat web widths up to 20”. 3 Sigma’s top permanent hot melt adhesives include A106 and 1023X, which have good adhesion to low surface energies. In addition, A204 is one of 3 Sigma’s top removable hot melt adhesives.
