Rubber Adhesives

Rubber adhesives are ideal for low or room-temperature applications requiring quick stick capability. These adhesives are manufactured using natural or synthetic rubbers combined with resins, oils, and antioxidants. Rubber-based adhesives feature high initial adhesion, good adhesion buildup, and high shear strength. In addition, this adhesive is characterized by fair UV resistance and bonds well to low surface energy substrates.

Rubber adhesives can be used in various applications, including corrugate, reseal labels, permanent labels, film facestocks, general packaging, and food packaging. 3 Sigma’s top rubber adhesive is SP110. This is a highly aggressive adhesive with good die-cutting properties.
